Another +1 on Rebel Brewer. I'm actually about to walk out the door and go see Tom now. But at the same time I think it is proper that the BN Army do it's best to support B3 because of the massive support those guys have given the BN as one of, if not the, top sponsors of the show. I crack on the idea of "Brewer's Code" often because folks tend to just label their own ideas and morals as being "The Code" but if a code truly does exist then I'm sure it would call for folks to give a little back to the folks that have given a shit ton to the BN.

I also want to get a march pump and stainless quick disconnects during the August sale, but as you mentioned the MPT quick disconnects are back ordered and so is the 1/2 stainless ball valve. It's tough to be patient when upgrading a brew system. I want my cake and want to eat it too!

I buy all my equipment, except for the occasional muslin hop bag or something like that, from B3, but being an extract brewer still, I get my ingredients from all over. Northern Brewer, B3, Williams, Austin, locally, wherever.

A couple pieces of circumstantial evidence tells me that B3 must be having issues with a drop in business. They are Local to me here in San Jose and I have shopped there almost exclusively and I want them to be around for when I eventually brew my own first batch. We have all said it before but please support you local shop.

I called B3 today and they said the threaded stainless quick disconnects will be in by the end of the month and they will honor the discount, but you have to call because the website won't let you check out with back ordered items in your cart. They said there was an unexpected delay from the manufacturer. Must be patient! I'm sure it will be worth the wait.....

You can get 4 sets of brass quick disconnects for under $40 from McMasters.
