Far out!

I don't see how to mash with a 3mm bottom. You're going to get all sorts of crap through it.

It's a pity they don't make 2mm holes because that would be perfect.

.094" is 3/32", and 3/32 works fine for me. You will get the occasional piece of grain through when you first start recirculating, but after a few minutes the grain bed stabilizes, and after that it's rare to get anything through it at all.

oops, i reread my post and realized it wasn't too clear. i was thinking the OP could double up since the holes on the sheets he could get cheap were slightly larger than 3/32

I think the solution is to buy a sheet with 2 mm holes. Alternatively I buy a purpose made sheet with slots instead of holes. It is more expensive, but gives more extract.
