No wonder the canadians have a little brother complex

No the little brother thing comes from our overwhelmingly small and useless peni (is that plural?) But my stir bar spins really fast!
Too much of a good thing....is a very good thing!

Concavity was definitely a problem when I got a stir plate. I wound up having to get a new flask (I needed it anyway) to solve the problem.
The barbell stir bar is another solution http://www.opticsplanet.net/vwr-circulu ... -5002.html

I got it worked out... the guy I got the stir plate from gave me a bunch of differently shaped bars... I got one to work and have made a starter since... and making one tomorrow for my weekend brewing session.
