For what it's worth, here is a good article about copper/brass in contact with post fermented beer:

I finally made a decision and I went with 2 50' ss steel coils from the place that Bugeater suggested. Total with shipping is a better deal than getting it from B3, but I just gave them close to $200 last week. I probably wont get the coils until next Monday (I think) but I think that I can take some breaks from finals week to get the Draft Box project rolling. Stay tuned for the upcoming pics.

I see I am chiming in too late here, but maybe this info will help someone else.

I built a 3 gallon corny cooler instead of a jockey box a couple of years ago and it works great! Instead of cooling a coil you cool the whole keg.

Nice looking keg caddy, I am going with the jockey box simply because I will be dispensing a large amount of beer in a relatively short time. For the wedding I am donating only 10 gallons of beer , but the Hops In Humboldt event I am serving at will be on the order of 40+ gallons in 4 hours. This is the same reason I choose to use ss coil instead of a cold plate.

I like the idea of the smaller keg caddy for very short camping trips, Ball games or a BBQ at a friends house. I will probably end up building one when I finally get a corny cut or break down and buy a shorty.
