Yeah Buddy, I found out last Saturday that my Belgian Golden Strong Ale won best of show the 2008 BOSS Chicago Cup Homebrew Competition. If the timing works out right I get to drive down to help brew my recipe at Flossmore Station Brewery! Sweet.

That's awesome, BRichards...! You better make it down their to brew, or send another BN delegate. Way to represent!

If I can't make it, any one of you with a beer gut could pose as me

Oh man, right on! Congrats, you are going to have a blast brewing there. Hopefully they are cool about being flexible in brewing your recipe and not wuss out and just use the closest ingredients/methods they have available.
At work, we brewed with a couple who won a local competition, and we went so far as to do the first ever step mash on our system (a strictly single infusion system) just because their recipe called for it. Why brew a homebrew recipe if you aren't going to let the homebrewer decide all the ingredients/steps?

I hope so to. The yeast is the biggest thing they are worried about because they want to be able to use it for a few beers. I used WLP 530 so I would think they could work with that.
