Longshot?

Anyone entering the Sam Adams "LONGSHOT" ?

Anyone do it last year?

I've looked all over the Columbus, OH area for a 6-pak of the beer that won last year & no one seems to have it.

I'm not planning on entering the comp. Due to not having great beer not due to not loving the contest idea.

I did pick up the long shot sixpack at a Woodman's in Green Bay last month and the beers were impressive. Even the boysenberry wheat was pretty good for such a foo-foo type of beer.

I haven't seen any of the Longshot beers here in Texas, but I assume that there was some problem with the alcohol content and the labeling... for whatever reason Texas is finicky about labels on high alcohol beers.

I am going to enter a Maibock. I think by the time the competition comes around, it might be respectable.

I do not know if I will win at all, but my friends are pushing me to do it.

I may enter an I.P.A. just for fun too.

How are you shipping your beer?

I know USPS will not ship alcohol. I went to Fed-X to ship some to Justin and they told me that alcohol has to be package be an "authorized dealer", whatever that is. I told them I had glassware in the box.

So, how do I get around this issue when the Longshot address says "Homebrew" ???

Any suggestions?
