First, who is planning on going?

Remember tickets go on sale July 30th at 10AM MST. Expect TicketMaster to screw up again (they are contracted with them for the "foreseeable future"), have a TM login ready and your AHA number ready. Also have your smart phone ready as last year that as the only way to buy tickets for a while.

Unfortunately Warehouse Enforcer Scott/Nikobrew North can't make it this year. I won't have a booth or anything but I will definitely be there. I touch down Wednesday at 10 and fly out Sunday at 4.

My goal is to just get into the members only session and spend the rest of the time at beer bars and breweries. There are a ton of events going on and I'm also going to try to put together a group for a VIP tour at New Belgium. It's supposed to be for industry folk so if you want to join myself and whoever else goes you'll be a Nikobrew rep :P

I'm staying at the Ramada Midtown, its cheap and has a bar with no good beer but plenty of liquor to top off any night. When I called them to ask if I could get the same rate as last year they said no and they were filling up quick. On their site it was $80/night and Kayak.com found a room for $63/night + tax for two double beds or one queen. It's a dingy motel but it gets the job done and is about an $8 cab ride from Falling Rock and has a free shuttle to anywhere within a few miles or so (I forget how many miles, but the convention center is in that radius).

If anybody else wants to share their plans here feel free to do so, I hope to see you there, I'll be the tubby guy with a hat and goatee and on some days/nights a kilt (no, not a utilikilt).

Hey Niko! I live in the Denver area and would love to join you guys on any Beer Adventures.
If you have space for me to join you at New Belgium that would be awesome.

I plan to go to all the GABF sessions and the added bonus one of the Denver Rare Beer Tasting.

I'll be rocking my BN gear (and maybe NikoBrew if I place an order before October).
Fellow BN Army members do the same and we'll talk over a few samples of beer.

Hey Niko!

I live in Denver as well, Please add me to the NB tour if there is room in the bus!

Another thing to consider participating in is the KROC World Brewers Forum.

A local club puts it together, and has a tasting room. Its usually on Thursdays, but the link above has last year's info.

Its a great time, and a fine topping on the Thursday GABF events.

At $75 per 4.5 hours this festival had better be pretty mind-blowing. See you :asshat: s there.

Wow, tickets have been really going up. Glad I got my fix when I did. Honestly I don't think I could handle the line or the crowd anymore.

I'm not excited about the line or the crowd. Colorado specializes in really obnoxious drunk young men looking for trouble.

My all-time favorite beer fest was actually the first BN winter brews when they just bought kegs of their favorite beers and threw a party. You had to look hard to find a mediocre beer on tap, the fest started early (what's with this 5:30 PM start crap?), and it was maybe $25 If I remember correctly? Those were the days.

If you have room on the NB tour, my wife and I would love to get in on that as long as it isn't Thursday night (we're hitting the Thursday night session). I was trying to get on a Denver to Fort Collins bus tour but all the ones I've seen so far are booked up.

All times are UTC - 8 hours
