I think they were $235 last year which included the banquet.

From what I heard... the cheapest option is $130... that is no banquet. It's basically just Pro-brewers, and club night.

It's been a few years since I lived in G.R., but I seem to remember that drive being closer to 3.5-4 hours. That might be because I only used to head up that way during ski season & usually didn't pass Nub's Knob, but 2.5 hours still seems like you'd have to be flying.

Cool news for those flying in for NCH 2014!

Bell’s will be arriving at Grand Rapids airport this summer

GRAND RAPIDS – Bell’s is bringing the look and feel of the Eccentric Café in downtown Kalamazoo to the Gerald R. Ford International Airport in Grand Rapids.

While the beer list is still being determined, a selection of year round, seasonal and specialty Bell’s beers will be offered along with a food menu that will focus on local ingredients and reflect the taste of the Eccentric Cafe.

“We think it will be a great opportunity to share Michigan’s beer culture and passion with visitors to our state,” said Laura Bell, Bell’s Marketing Director.

The new Bell’s Bar will be located in the airport’s pre-security area, currently Home Turf, so visitors will be able to visit without purchasing a ticket.

We are working on the design process now and a tentative opening is scheduled for late summer, Bell said.

Bell’s is working with Maryland-based HMSHost, who received the contract for the renovation of the airport’s main hall as well as concourse retail, food and beverage options.

Bell’s beer will also be served in the Great Lakes Tap Room planned for Concourse B.
