The Toronado in San Francisco is having their barley wine festival this Saturday.

Last year I didn't get there until the evening and they were sold out of the Dogfish Head 120' IPA. It took me another year to get my hands on a couple bottles of it. I'm not making that mistake this again. I'll be there at the crack of 2pm(ish) with my BN shirt and my drink on.

Let me know if anyone else is planning to be there so I can give you a shout.

If I had to pick one beer-vent that I have not been to to go to, it would be this one. The insentive this year was greater than ever and I still had to pass. Maybe next year.

Alan Sprints of Hair of the Dog needed someone to drive a keg down for the event and offered a case of his beer to do it. On top of that, Sierra Nevada has just released Bigfoot 2006 and they are on the route from PDX to Frisco. BF is very reasonablly priced at SN. Much cheaper than up here.

Damn, the price of a divorce was just a bit too much to pay when looking at the upside.
