Any of the brews from Boulevard Brewing are good, especially the Smokestack Series http://www.boulevard.com/beers/smokestack-series/ .

Schlafly (St. Louis Brewery) was a guest on the program a few years ago.

Although I wonder if Goose Island is now available in MO, Mild Winter was great, so was Matilda.

Schlafy beer house in the city.

Wine and Cheese shop on Manchester Ave. has a good bottle selection.

Addressing some points from above:
* The best bottle shop in town is the Wine and Cheese Place, but the location on Forsyth in Clayton.
* Goose Island has been available for a long time
* Schlafly is indeed awesome. And hard to spell.

Suggestions that I think only pertain to the STL area:
O'Fallon 5 day IPA
O'Fallon Pumpkin
Schlafly Brewers Choice Weissbier

Should be available statewide:
Schlafly APA
Schlafly Coffee Stout
Schlafly Brewers Choice Weissbier
Boulevard Tank 7
Boulevard Bourbon Barrel Quad
Boulevard Bob's 47
Tallgrass (a brewery out of Kansas, has some pretty good stuff. Available in cans)
Big Sky Moose Drool (Montana)

Haven't been by a bottle shop in a while, so there may be some new things I'm missing. The above will be a good start though.
