WOW! This beer is awsome. I was a little suprised at the timing of the seasonal release, but they were right on. This beer really does remind you that spring is on the way. The hops are so dialed in its amazing, hoppier than a pilsner should be but not enough to cover up that delicate pilsner malt. This beer once again reminds us that sam adams is still a craft brewery and their brewers are truely artisans. Get this stuff while its fresh.

Prost!

I've gone through 3 12 packs of this already.

Good stuff...and most places have it on tap around here

I had about 6 or 7 pints of this in Boston right from their tasting room. It might be my favorite beer of theirs, ever.

Had 2 at a dinner meeting Thursday night. Great stuff a little more hoppy than I expected but great!

absolutely my favorite Sam Adams beer ever. i've bought several cases of it already and it is my goto draft beer at bars that don't carry anything more local.

Is it hoppier than a true pils? Or is it hoppier than a german pils that makes its way across the ocean and is mishandled? It's certainly much less hoppy than prima pils which is a "classic example" of pils (i'd argue with that). I haven't had the fresh stuff, so I can't compare, but it just has a fresh character to me. I think the hopping is beautiful.

I don't know that I get that beautiful pils malt. It tastes like american 2-row to me. It doesn't have the right grainy sweetness.

That said, I think it's a fantastic beer. Certainly 10x better than their previous spring beer.
