Jamil's English IPA Recipe

So, my gf got me the book for christmas but Im wanting to the Eng IPA recipe from it soon. Since she wont give me the book early could someone post the recipe, or at least the grain/hop bill? Thanks!

also, I checked with her and she is not the girlfriend that sent in the 3 pages of notes for jamil to sign.

I don't know if it is close to JZ's or not (don't have my book yet) but it looks like a fine EIPA to me.

Did you mean to have goldings at 45 and challenger at 30? Either will work, but typically the goldings are used later and the challenger earlier in the boil.

1028 should work nicely for this. It's probably my favorite english yeast. Flocs out pretty well, but not so fast that it has trouble finishing (like 005 sometimes does), is good for repitching (unlike 1098) and has a pleasantly restrained but recognizable English ester profile.

FG: 1.015
ADF: 74%
IBU: 50
SRM: 11
ABV: 6.2%
Boil: 60 Minutes
pre-boil volume: 7 gallons
pre-boil gravity: 1.053
eff: 70%

12.25 lb. British Pale Ale
0.5 lb. Wheat Malt
0.5 lb. Biscuit (25L)
0.5 lb. Crystal (40L)
6.0 oz. Crystal (120L)

Malt:
1.43 oz. Challenger 8% AA, 60 min.
1.5 oz. Fuggles 5% AA, 10 min.
1.5 oz. Kent Goldings 5% AA, 0 min.

Yeast:
WLP013 London Ale or Wyeast 1028 London Ale

Ferment at 68 degrees.

Thanks BigTex, also Danny I wanted to mix up the ekg and challenger to get different flavors coming out with the different boil lengths. Also youre right about the yeast. Ive been able to repitch the 1028 with great results. It really is a fantastic strain.
