Recipe suggestions?

So, the pendulum swings. Before home-brewing, I was that guy who didn't like bitter beers. Now, I am that guy who is brewing imperial IPAs, and buying Hopsickles.
A friend came over and I knew he wasn't going to be into Hopsickle, so I bought him a 6 pack of Lauganitas PILS. I had one and damn, I fell in love with it.
Does anyone have a recipe that will give me that toasty malt flavor, that I can brew as an ale. Not only do I really like it, but How many cases of imperial IPA can one man drink? Well, I haven't found my limit yet, but I do want to mix it up a little.
Any suggestions for a good partial mash recipe?
Thanks...
