LOL well I like green olives and this was not drinkable. Though... Maybe I should have saved some to make some amber dirty wet vodka martinis with.

Received first place in SHV at First Coast Cup Recently in Jax, FL. Beer was amazing in my opinion. Great feedback from the judges except one said it was a somewhat cloying (could have definitely been my brewing) but if it wasn't has anyone has tried .5 Lb of turbinado sugar and if the taste result is similar...

I'm guessing either a fermentation issue or a bad judge with a poor vocabulary.

Notes
-----

Turbinado sugar addition will go into secondary fermenter. Invert the sugar by mixing the sugar in ratio of 3:1 by weight with water. Bring to a boil until sugar completely dissolved. Add 1 tsp lemon juice and simmer until sugar solution turns clear.

Revisiting this recipe for the Fall... If I am bottle conditioning how should I handle the secondary addition of 1 lb of Turbinado sugar? Should I be concerned about adding priming sugar come bottling time? Are any adjustments needed?

No adjustments needed for this one. I would even skip adding the turbinado in secondary and simply add it directly to the boil with at least 10 minutes left to be sure it properly dissolves. No need to mess around with adding it so secondary and the beer will ferment just fine.
