Converting Beverage Air Milk Cooler into Kegerator?

Mon Jul 29, 2013 7:55 pm

Hey Guys,

I'm getting ready to embark on a project and was hoping someone might have someone helpful advice. I just recently came across a great deal on a used Beverage Air Milk Cooler that I want to convert into a Kegerator. I believe the model number is SM49N. The original sticker is long gone and I cant find a model number anywhere else, I'm guessing based on google pictures. Anyway I want to place a tower tap or several on the top portion and didn't know if I would have any issues with cooling coils? Has anyone out there cut into one of these bad boys? Thanks BN Army for any advice help. Just finished my first solo- AG batch and I'm already thinking about kegging!

Don't see any issues. 1/4Hp, 7.5 full load. See link below. Good find. 36F-38F per the PDF.

Up to you to make the taps and interior work. Good project.
