Budweiser doesn't flush with Co2, instead they inject brewing water at a high pressure into each bottle which causes Co2 to come out of suspension. Right when the beer foams up they cap it...

Probably not feasible at the micro level though.....

Before filling, I'd bet my bottom dollar they do.

Most, if not all, large commercial bottling lines:
    sanitize
    flush w/ CO2
    counter pressure fill
    zap the top with the water stream (or a quick blast of CO2)
    cap on foam
    rinse the outside of the capped bottle

I've only seen a few canning lines & never worked with one, so I can't comment there.
