Don't dial your regulator screw all the way in. Screw it all the way out first. Tthen throw it on an unpressurised keg and slowly dial it in and you will see the pressure rise. Every time tou make an adjustment you will need to bleed co2 in order to see where you are, the dial won't drop from 10 to 3 if you don't let the pressure out. If you want to play with it just take the ball lock adapter off so co2 is just flowing out.
