I've stepped away too long & some of the specific details are a little fuzzy.

I recall you're not supposed to heat it above ... I think 170 or 180, but 160 is generally recommended? The other thing that's fuzzy is what specifically happens above that temp.

I hate it when I used to know something & it's still kind of there, but just barely beyond reach. Damn cousin. Did someone say something about cookies?

I would imagine heating it above that could result in some components breaking down, or the chelating agents possibly being affected?

Thanks man, that was the sheet I couldn't find back. I'll have to look back; I think the reasoning was mentioned in a show a few years back. Just can't remember for the life of me. I think it does have something to do with something breaking down.
