So I bought this new for $25

and I'm buying the 21 jet tommorrow for a few $ more.

My question is will I need one of these:

More beer says this on a comparable burner:
These burners are not for use on portable propane tanks, they are for use with large propane tanks with regulators that typically feed a rural homes where natural gas is not offered..

One of the guys in my club spoke with some local propane people that said w/o the Low Pressure Reg the tank would freeze.

I just want to know if any of you are running burners like this, how you've got them set up, and how fast you're burning through tanks.

Prost

Where the fuck is Hank Hill when you need him?

I'm running 3 of the H209 series burners on my stand, and have them connected thru a low pressure reg, like the one pictured. I'm running off of regular grill sized propane tanks. I normally run the HLT and MT at the same time, although not full blast.....and when it comes time for the boil, I'm running one burner.....and I can do about 3-4 brew sessions (at least) on a single tank. I have had all 3 burners running at the same time when I tested out the system, and seemed to work fine, although I didn't run it for a full session.

I have three of the Burner - 92,000 BTU for Low Pressure Propane
(H212) from more beer. I use the same regulator you have posted (H212A) also from more beer and I run them with portable LP tanks from my BBQ grill and everything works just fine.
