Just wanted to remind everyone of brewing hazards, almost ended up in my brew kettle. Wet concrete and water are slick. i went to step over the propane tank and stepped into a puddle almost went down but grabbed my kettle. Just twisted my knee a little....just glad i didnt go for a swim. Weizen Bock turned out fine though.

Send me some of that Weizen Bock... I'll be the judge of its quality for you, bro.
Helpin' out,

Yeah that sucks, Like a lot of northern US, Colorado is basicly Arctic this time of year. So if you plan on brewing you are going to be competing with some wicked ice. I almost lost the battle last weekend when I was cleaning up and ice was forming on my gear as well as the walk ways.
Be careful!

Yeah, I brewed serveral batches a couple weeks ago and everything froze. Vinyl tubing on each side of my immersion chiller, faucet on the side of the house, buckets of star san, etc. It was a mess and added a good hour or two to my day trying to reengineer everything mid way through brewing.
I've learned to keep as much inside for as long as possible when the temp drops. I'm just not used to cold weather down here in Nashville.

Those are pretty miserable brewing conditions. My last couple of brews have been that way. Started in the early afternoon with the sun shining but by the time I was chilling and cleaning up everything was starting to freeze, including me!

When your as tall as badrock, the troposphere gets pretty chilly up there
I had a gorgeous brew day a couple days ago-almost 50*, now yesterday was a high of 5 and today a high of 19 if we're l;ucky. Gonna have to break out the yak-trax for anti-slippage.
