Running Two Burners Off One LP tank

So can I just basically put in a T here and be ok? I've got two ~60,000 btu burners that I'd like to, for convenience's sake, be able to run off of a single 20# tank. I know when dealing with Natural Gas, pipe diameter can become an issue because most homes weren't designed to run 100,000+ btus out of a single source, so do I need to worry about any of this for my application? Any tips? Thanks.

Two 60Ks might be pushing it - but for the amount of time that you will be running both at once - I don't think it should be an issue. You'll need a big enough regulator to be able to run them. I have one of those adjustables that come with the Bayou Cajon cooker. I think it is 0-30 PSI.

I would worry about freezing the propane. I have one tank per burner and mine will start freezing if I run it too long.

That's what I have too, I can run all three burners at full tilt, just dial it up to 30psi and let it burn! I basically have a gas manifold made of 1/2" black pipe with tees in it. You can kind of see in this photo, along the left of the contraption is the manifold with independent valves.

I run two burners on my stand, however, i am only running one burner at a time usually. (no burner for MT). I have a inline Tee with another pin valve that controls the other burner. As long as theres valves for both burners youshould be good. I hav never had my LP freeze.
