Piecing together an immersion chiller

I have been in the process of building an immersion chiller for a while now. I was able to score 2-20 ft sections of 1/2 inch copper tubing off of craigslist. I was going to make one coil smaller than the other and place it inside the larger coil, hook them up in series and call it good. However when i went to form the first coil i saw some instructions somewhere to uncoil the tubing first then wrap it around a corny keg to form the chiller....hmm....that wasnt a good idea...i now have 20ft of kinked tubing.

I then found out that it is best to just put the corny keg inside of the pre coiled tubing and just tighten the tubing to form the chiller. This worked great and I now have 20 feet coiled into part of a chiller. I dont want to form the infeed and outlet portions of the chiller with this same section as i dont want to decrease the number of coils in the chiller. My question is can I solder two 90 degree elbows onto the coils and salvage some sections from the kinked mess as the infeed and outlet? I am unsure if having soldered connections in the wort poses any potential problems. Any help would be appreciated, if you can decipher the jumbled mess of words above.

Yes, you can solder it without any problems. Just be sure you use lead free silver solder.

While this is my pre-chiller, it was a fun, blizzard-day project. Leftover pieces of copper tubing and lead free solder of course.
