I just finished building an immersion chiller and would like to know the most efficient way of cleaning it before my first use. ( to get the flux and oils off )

Thanks
Peter

start with dish soap...
then oxy clean...
then Vinegar soak (20% vinegar 80% water)
Oxyclean again (same batch ok)
use it

Hmmm... I say spit on it, wipe it down with a pair of boxers from the hamper, and THEN use it. Forget all that cleaning stuff...

Star San, just don't let it stay on it too long. Spray wipe all around, wash off.

Brew an IPA. You'll never taste the oils and stuff. Then just send it to Justin and tell him it has bacon flavoring.
