Hello,
My name is Chris.
I am currently a brewer in London and I am planning to open a new brewery.
I came across a Chinese manufacturer called "LEHUI"
Their prices are very competitive and look pretty good on the webpage.
Has anybody experienced any Chinese brewing equipment or LEHUI's products?
I will appreciate any reviews from others.
Thank you very much.

Welcome-
I would ask this question over at
http://www.probrewer.com. They might know better than the homebrewers here.
What sort of beers have you been making?
What's the scene over in the UK? Is it still bitters, porters, and stouts, or are they becoming more adventurous?

I am opening a brewery in NH and we looked into chinese equipment. You have to be very careful. Look for a dealer here in the states that you can deal with. There is a lot of info on probrewer about who has been good to deal with. Good luck sourcing your equipment.

After thinking about this, I'd be wary.
You get what you pay for. That thin stainless kettle will likely fail when you need it least, causing you to spend the money you should have spent in the first place in addition to whatever you paid for the cheap shit.
Plus, who knows what they actually make their stuff out of. They put fertilizer in baby food fer chrissakes. Chances are you are buying something other than advertised.

I have a friend who works in a brewery with Chinese made equipment. They had problems with welds rusting and pipes not angled plumb making it hard to connect hoses etc and making it hard to line things up causing breakage. They have to get a local American company to repair their Chinese equipment often. Not sure if this hurt ls them monetarily but it is definitely a PITA. The equipment looks ok but if you want your brewer to like you instead of cuss you consider not buying from China.
