New Chiller on the Market

Has anyone seen this chiller? http://jadedbrewing.com/collections/front-page-items/products/the-jaded-cfc

I am in the market for a counter flow chiller, and am considering the Therminator. But I am worried about plugging it up, as I currently don't put any effort forth to filter out the hops or solids. I have a pump, and I intend to recirculate. The Jaded CFC above seems to be a good option with the ability to clean the ID of the beer lines, and the beer path has a cross sectional area that would allow solids to pass through. Let me know what you guys think.

40 batches on a 30 plate CFC chiller, no issues. Pump and recirculate for cooling. Run a CIP before each brew. FYI.

That's good to hear. Which model do you use? Do you filter or do anything to keep solids out of the CFC? Stupid question: what is CIP?

I like the idea that you can visually inspect the inside of the Jaded chiller and run a brush though it if you want too.
It's kinda pricey but I bet there's some time involved solder all those joints.
I might have to build one myself.

I started pricing it out and I was up to $150 or so. Cutting, fitting, and soldering it (without leaks) would be worth a few dollars for me.

The last gadgets issue of Zymurgy showed how to build a chiller almost exactly like this.
I was going to build it but it seems like I'd be losing a lot of beer in the chiller. I never calc'd the internal volume but it just seemed like too much.

It looks like the zymurgy chiller, and probably the Jaded one as well, would have an internal volume of 0.15 gal. Not quite as much as I suspected.
