Oxygen flow meter

Hello.

I just bought a 5# (non-medical) oxygen tank.

What's the best value to put a regulator and 0-1 lpm flow meter (or combo unit) on it?

Thanks!

If it's a CGA-540 connection, these work well for cheap. Just make sure it has the range you want and a barbed fitting for a hose. I use 3 Lpm for 12 gallon fermentations and .12 Lpm for starters.

I use the regulator from my gas welding outfit. It's not a flowmeter. I adjust the pressure to the point I get a fine stream of bubbles.
Here's a pretty cheap one.

20% off coupons for Harbor Freight are pretty easy to find too.
Good Luck! :jnj

I picked up a medical regulator on ebay for $12 a while back. It had a different connection so I just unscrewed it an put on a standard o2 fitting from a local welding supply shop. The threads were 1/4 NPT so it was an easy swap.

Like this one. I found out I needed a doctors prescription in order to get a medical tank. A welding oxygen tank is the same compressed air . Just its in an uglier tank.
