I picked up a couple of those trays that are used for soaking wall paper, think I got mine at Ace hardware, they work great for soaking Long items like auto siphons, and wine thieves.

Nothing against WBB's reply as it's a fine way to do it, but to present another option.

I'm usually using bucket fermenters & bottling buckets to mix up PBW & StarSan. Especially to clean up after I use the siphon. I like to use the siphon to transfer the cleaning chemicals to another vessel (often the next that needs it). An extra soak upside down works for the PBW & I always keep a large spray bottle of StarSan around. I find that if I spray it down a couple times is during the sanitizer transfer is more than sufficient to get all the parts not submerged.
