Yeast culturing

Hey everyone
I'm tring to find a decent place to get some decently priced yeast culturing equipment, mostly plates tubes and agar. I've checked some places online and nothing is really what I'm looking for. Anyone have a good source for getting this stuff? I'm guessing my next option is eBay.

cynmar.com is a good resource

amazon and ebay are worth checking too

You could also check with a local school or college. I know my old bio teacher had zero problems with doing it.
Now that I think of it, her last name IS Koch.

I agree with the above, however, the one thing I would suggest is make your own Agar and not purchase that stuff is rediculously overpriced, you can make your own by using "agar agar" for an asian food market a little bit of DME and water.

Ya I'm definitely making my own agars (did it @ college and now at work, just can't take it from work). I was thinking about contacting my old lab pi but I also remember the smallest amount of agar they can get is 500g and cost like $350. Thanks for the ideas/responses.

Thanks for the offer mordantly, but that I have along with a 1 & 2L flasks. I think I may get the petri plates and tubes from the link above and the agar from a guy on eBay.
