OK so im using a march pump and 1/2" hoses to push all the brewing stuff around, the probelm is i think its a little slow, especially pumping the wort from the tun, into the heat exchange, and then back to the tun, im thinking there may be to much restriction with the 1/2" plumbing, im wondering if 3/4" would pump any faster

Look if you got a problem with your plumbing you should be asking Mrs. Oz.

Oz, this may be a stupid question but does March recommend a hose size for that model?

I'm a lover not a fighter(translated, I'm afraid you'd kick my ass) or I'd call you out for that Oz :P

Um, I seem to remeber seeing some place in my life time something that speaks to pumps and recommended hose sizes for the best flow rate but I can't remember where I saw it.

If someone doesn't know I bet an email to the manufacturer will get you something buddy.

Cheers,

Rob

Oz -- No. 1/2" is great for that pump.

More importantly, are you using quick disconnects? What size are they (or any of your inline connectors for that matter).
What kind of lift are you attempting?
What are you pumping through? (rigid pipe, tubing)
What makes you think it's slow? Can you measure how many gph you're pumping?
