I've never seen the like, but in my search for a new tank I googled upon these:
- Lite Cylinder

Good marketing, or amazingly good product? I'm choosing between anchoring my brew system to my garage by going natural gas (along with new or ported burners) and just sticking with propane, but getting a second tank. Anyone have any experience with these?

Something about it both appeals to me and scares me at the same time.

I work in the marine trades and we see these on pleasure craft all the time. They're cool, but unless weight is an issue, why bother?

Weight yes, and in a 20 or 30 pounder that can add up, but also a visible fill level and no shrapnel when you set in on fire. Other than that, no reason. Just looked like a good option for a first/additional tank, not necessarily a replacement for a steel tank you've already got on hand.

If someone gave me one, I would use it. However, I have a friend (and fellow brewer) who works for an RV dealership. He will give me all the steel tanks I want for free.

Personally, it is really cool but like the people above said....it scares the shit out of me at the same time.
