What pump should I use ?

Fri Feb 26, 2010 8:26 pm

Hey there guys, almost got my all grain system going. Just wondering if anyone has found a decent pump out there that hasn't broke the bank. I keep looking at march pumps but a little to much rite now. Found one at harbor freight but i'm not sure if it can handle the heat. Does any one use a pump they found for under 80 or am I dreaming.

Ebay and Craigslist. Bought one of mine on Ebay for $105, and then got the other one used from a guy that ran 5 batches and got bored with brewing. $60.

Keep your eyes peeled!

I have seen that one at Harbor Freight. $30. Do not know if it is SST or Steel head, or if OK as a potable liquid pump. Temperature, as you mentioned, is the other possibel issue.

Good luck!

I looked everywhere for 2 years and ending up buying the March pump from NB. I hate used stuff, just my opinion.

Save your money for the march pump. There really isn't anything out there for a pump that will do what the march pump can do at the price that it sells for.
