Fermenator - Tri-Clamp or Standard Fittings?

I'm about to pull the trigger on a Blichmann Fermenator and I'm wondering if the tri-clamp setup is worth the extra ~$230(for the 14.5gal). Anyone seen/tried both? My LHBS doesn't have them in-store for me to look at, so it's tough to get a good idea for what the practical differences are.

Triclover (Sanitary 3A) is great for a number of reasons (easy and quick to connect, no threads to harbor bacteria, easy to sanitize) but they are expensive and I suppose the most important question is "What will you connect to?" If the only other 3A fitting in your brewery is an adapter with a hose barb or IPT thread on the other end there isn't much point in going 3A for the fermenter. OTOH if your wort chiller, pumps, hoses, kettles, mash tun etc. are 3A or if you are willing to consider changing them over to 3A (which often involves buying IPT to 3A adaptors which immediately invalidates one of the main reasons for 3A i.e. no threads) it may be worth considering.

Nevermind the other equipment - the Blichmann has threads of its own (racking arm and dump port). Save your money. Or, buy the B3 one. It's just fucking badass. Whereas there used to be a choice, the B3 one is the clear victor now.
