Where to get a Love controller, and which one?

I need temp control for a kegerator, and want to go with the Love controller this time. I'm not finding them at NB, B3 or any of the other usual suspects.

The Love TS-13010 sells for $65 on the Dwyer Instruments site, and it looks like what I want.

I see references to Cole Parmer for a EW-93520-00 at $65.00, but I can't reference that number to the Dwyer catalog.

So what model do I want for a single stage controller and where's the best place to buy it?

TIA,
Charlie

The Cole Parmer part # EW-93520-00 is a Love TS-13010, they just use a different id for thier catalog. I got the Love controller from Cole Parmer, but they've since raised the price from $49 to $65. I don't know if there's anywhere out there with a better price, as I haven't been in the market for a while.

With only 3A output, do you need to use a relay to cycle the compressor with this unit? The love controller the OP refers to has 16A output.

They are still $50, at least for the one I'm using:

This is the thermistor model, 1° set point, on/off temp controller. If you need wiring help, see below.

The picture is becoming clearer.

The $50.00 EW-93520-12 On/Off and Limit Switch Temperature at Cole Parmer is the same as the TSX-10140 Digital Temperature Switch at Dwyer ($55.00).

The $55.00 EW-93520-00 On/Off Temperature Controller at Cole Parmer is the same as the TS-13010 Digital Temperature Switch at Dwyer ($65.00).

I freaked out because I went to the Dwyer site to buy one and found the TCS-4010 Thermocouple Temperature Switch for $70 and thought the prices had gone up!

I wish I knew what the real difference in these controllers is. I'm about to say to hell with it and buy another Ranco.

93520-12 uses a thermistor for reading temperature, the 93520-01 (could not find -00, was this a typo?) uses a thermocouple. Other than this, they control temperature identically. I have had good luck with the thermistor model (93520-12), but in general thermistors are prone to "drift" over time, like the cheap digital thermometers. Thermocouples are generally more stable over time and have a broader temperature range available, especially at the high end (1350°C). For homebrewing, the thermistor controller is just fine for our purposes, although both will work.
