Anybody here have one? If so, do they really help out your fermentation process and what would you recommend? ( Looking at B3 website)
Thanks

Im using Complete Conical Fermenter - Heating & Cooling(12.2 Gallons) I really like it. One thing I miss is being able to see when visible signs of fermitation have begun. The benefits I like are that you can open it up and clean it, which I could never do with a carboy. I also like the dump valve on the bottom so you can remove the trub and grab some yeast for repitching.

I'm very happy with my Fermenator, a 14.5 gallon model. Ditto what he said above on the advantages and disadvantage. Mine doesn't come with a cooler, so I'm not using it for lagers at the moment. When I've moved my brewing operations I'm either going to get a fridge or build a walk-in cooler for that.

I'm beginning to wonder if you are honestly made of money (or dishonestly

).

I have a pair of 14.5 gallon Blichmann conicals. They're fuckin' awesome. They're both digitally temp controlled with Rancos in their own fridges. Not only are they super easy to clean and sanitize, but harvesting yeast is a snap, and the ability to use CO2 to pump beer into kegs is tough to beat. They're truly top-notch units that will last a lifetime.

i used c02 when i was using carboys. I would use the rubber carbopy hoods. I would put my racking cane in one hole and pump c02 into the other hole. It only took a second to up the pressure and the siphon would be pumping.
