Stir Plate

My wife surprised me buy getting me a 5000ml erlenmeyr flask and a bunch of DME to make starters.. I have seen the posts about building your own stir plate and was thinking about making one. I was wondering if those have the power to effectively stir that much starter.

Built mine recently, works sweet, in fact I hear it spinning right now!
