Vorlauf / Recirc question

I want to be able recirculate the wort in my mash because I want to be able to directly heat it. Basically I will be vorlaufing throughout the mash. My question is what are the different/preferred ways to reintroduce the wort to the top of the mash after it is drawn from the bottom via pump? I know aeration needs to be kept at a minimum. Are there any other concerns? Pics of different setups would be awsome. Thanks. :jnj

I would think any sort of sparge ring would work.
I batch sparge myself so don't have any pics of this sort of thing but it should not be too difficult to rig
something up that works pretty well. BTW I think that hot side aerration is totally BS. My own thought though.

1/2" copper ring with about 15 holes drilled into it. I'm thinking about drilling more holes. Ideally I set the flow so the liquid just dribbles out instead of sprays to minimize aeration.

I don't have a pic handy, but I prefer large holes to those that can block or be a pain to clean behind.
I do the same - recirc - I use a copper manifold.
Start with a T, then use two more - one off each branch of the first.
Then use an elbow on each of those to form 4 returns.
Pointing them upwards, but submerged in the mash works well.
