I am. I don't ask about about her purses and shoes, she doesn't ask about my beer and guns.

Hmmmm, maybe my a/c is too big.

BrewTat,

You said you are using an insulated exterior door....is that a steel or fiberglass door?? If steel, do you have any problems with it building up getting condensation on it? Reason I ask is the guy at Home Depot said the steel doors would probably stay very wet, and end up rusting.

Thanks brotha!

Steel. I have not seen a hint of condensation anywhere except the a/c coils where it's expected. Not sure why he thinks an insulated EXTERIOR steel door would be a problem.

me either, so that's what I will go with! Now I'm trying to figure out the best and easiest way to insulate it, and get the maximum R value I can...was looking for 4" polystyrene, but no one around here carries anything thicker than 3/4", unless I get 48 sheets of 2". So I may just go the bats like you did....and cover that with some 3/4".
