No I am not firing the bottom of a 10 gallon GOT cooler. That was just used as a stand... I had a second pot heated to 180 in case I needed to add sparge water. I will be buying cinder blocks to use as stands for the HLT and Mash ton... but this is what I am using now. In terms of Beer Porn... this is the equivalent to amature midget or something.

My old grill. Up until 3 weeks ago, I grilled with charcoal. I have just not tossed it away yet because I am iffy on tossing a full bottle of lighter fluid in the dumpster.

smurfe... that works man. unlike you, my sparge arm is not even screwed in, i just have a hole cut where a peice of plastic pipe will fit securely enough to stay put while i sparge.

Hey man, that's a decent setup. We all can't start with B3 1550s.
Curious how your West Coast Blaster turns out. Let me (or us) know. I've got that planned for a future brew.
Dig the sparge setup too. Beats the hell outta my ladling technique.

I had a pretty nice single tier setup that I built myself, but my wife made me get rid of it because it took up too much space in the garage. Oh well.
So, now I'm ghetto too. I use the erector set slotted angle iron for my 2 burners, and set my Gott cooler up on a high-top patio table that I drag in from the back yard.
