I've used mine a few times and I like it a lot. I am not sure if it improves the beer any but it definitely makes yeast harvesting and trub removal easier. I've not been able to use it as many times as I like because It takes up my whole fridge and lately I've been trying to brew as much as possible. I can ferment two different beers at once in buckets or carboys in the same fridge space. The only problem I've had with it is because it is the economy version if you wait too long to dump the yeast and trub the bottom valve can get plugged and not drain. You can remedy that by forcing co2 in the bottom valve and unclogging it but then you push all that back into the beer. I have a buddy that can weld stainless and I think I will have him put a 1" triclover fitting on there to make that problem go away.

If you are looking to buy a conical I suggest getting the B3 version and save up a little extra for the pro series.
