ten times funnier. I am listening to the 10.16.11 show and they are talking to the Beer School online people and Moscow wedged in 2 horrible jokes/commentaries so far. Micro-machines....really? I still have some at my parent's house, but that came out of left field. Then he threw in some comment about all of the waitstaff only being 22. It grinds the show to a stop for me, because he interjects some shitty ass junior high humor. I am not trying to make the BN out for more than what it is, but can Moscow ease up on talking over people with his jokes.

JP's jokes are laced with sexual innuendo or sarcastically funny.

I know right. If I don't hear something about it on the show I'll call shenanigans.

I'm hesitant to start bagging on the guy because he seems like a nice guy and it seems like he is doing a pretty good job producing, but I had to post when I saw this thread because it was bothering me too

Moscow is stealing alot of his "material" from the Adam Carolla show...a lot of the games he has come up with and all of his little sign ons and offs are rip offs of material on Carolla's show

moscow: "this is Scott the jew saying la heim"
carolla: "this is adam carolla saying mahallo"

moscow: "from the international news center in pacheco, ca"
carolla: "from the international news center next to donny's mini bikes"

on a positive note, the interview he did with the yeast scientist was pretty well done

I guess I have always been told to also add in a compliment when you are offering constructive criticism. So, he does do a good job booking guests and I kinda like the games he comes up with, even if they may be borrowed.

Maybe it's because he is new and trying to find his place, but his interjections seem off base, because they usually aren't related to the topic at hand. JP is the jokester, Tasty, Nate and Doc are the resident homebrewing experts and Justin corrals everyone in. Shat never used to talk that much and you almost didn't know he was there most of the time.

Also, the BN isn't my creative property and I don't want my comments to change the dynamic of the show if others feel it is working, but for a few moments every show I cringe when I hear Scott speak up.

Moscow did a great job with the yeast whisperer. I'll give him that. He also does alot of other things for the show, no doubt.
I just think that he, as stated above, talks over too many people, too often. I couldn't care less when he does it to the BN staff, but he does it all the time with guests and I miss what they are saying and it is a bit disrespectful. Yes, it is the BN, but it isn't all sophmoric humor "go-time".
I like him and all, I just think he needs to settle down a bit.

And his last drunk of the week attempt was just silly. You cannot get dotw while producing a show like that. Does not compute.
