Hey Brewcasters - I want to share a little story to let you guys know just how good you are. Last summer, I found the BN and listened to a lot of archived shows while I was remodeling my bathroom. I also picked up a copy of How to Brew and read it cover to cover. After the bathroom was done, I geared up and brewed my first batch in September. It was all grain, seemed easy, and turned out great. I entered four of my first six batches in the Cascade Brewers Cup. It is a big event put on by Cascade Brewers Guild, roughly 400 entries I heard. My four entries scored 30 to 38 points and collected one third place. My very first batch was a scottish 70 from Brewing Classic Styles, and scored 38.3. I didn't know a thing about brewing before I started listening to the BN. Hows that for cool. Keep it up, you guys are a treasure to the home brewing community.

I think I am supposed to insert a dick joke here to lighten things up, but I am plumb out, sorry.

That is the beauty of the BN Army, a short bus rider such as myself can leave all the rocket science to others and still make decent beer. :jnj
