Hop relocation

This afternoon my wife walks in from the back yard and says "honey, I think you have a wild hop plant growing in the yard." This struck me as odd since hops are not native to Texas and my other plants haven't produced any seeds. Then I remembered my dog dug up my willamette. I guess he thought the middle of the yard was a better spot.

you need to train him to do that every spring... and just take off 2-3 rhizomes from each crown...

That's great! Knowing my mutt he would have replanted in the neighbors yard.
