Thermometer

Anyone give a course on how to read a thermometer, Thats twice I've dicked up my mash by reading deg C instead of deg F. Maybe I should stop drinking while I am brewing

Its the otherway Doc, Infusion mash, I need strike water at about 168 deg F which gives me about 68 deg C strtike temp which in reality is about 158 deg F. The 100 is assumed on the thermometer in deg F

Why can't you guys jump on the metric band wagon? Then my instruments would only be calibrated in one unit

Put a piece of tape over the Celcius numbers so you cant see them.

I was only kidding, It might be kinda hard to get your strike temp to 302F.

I like the metric system. One or the other and everything's fine. It's the conversions that suck.
