So I'm going to Deer Creek Malthouse tomorrow for a tour. Pretty excited. 1st malt house in PA since prohibition.

They'll have brews made with their malt along the tour. I've seen it in the LHBS, but it's been $3/lb for base malt so I haven't made the plunge yet.

The event lived up to it's expectations. Great event. I think that's the first time I've heard 2-row vs 6-row been explained. Beers were great and the staff was very knowledgeable.
