looking to deplete some specialty grains that have just been sitting around. was thinking something esb-ish, ideally wanted ekg or fuggles but local store all out. picked up an oz challenger and 2 oz cascade and have a bit of magnum lying around. thoughts on recipe appreciated:

6 gal
mash 155
(est og 1.058 and ~40 ibu)

12 lb MO
10 oz dark crystal (think it's rated 120-160L)
8 oz victory
8 oz flaked maize
3 oz honey malt

.2 oz magnum 60 min (~13 AA)
.5 oz challenger 60 min (~8 AA)
1 oz cascade 20 min (~3.5 AA)
.5 oz challenger 20 min
1 oz cascade 0 min

wyeast 1028

You can do a 75 or 90 min boil and start your bittering hops a little earlier to boost the bitterness a little bit more. Otherwise, I think it looks pretty good.

I would move all the challenger to the last 15 and use the cascade to get your IBUs up. I love what Challenger can do to a beer.

Agree with moving the hops around too. I wish I thought of that.
Good call.
