Tell me, am I the last guy hand cranking a fucking corona mill?! I bought it for $3 at Goodwill. It was a bargain. Nothing like starting out your brew day swinging your arm for an hour and 20. My next brewery upgrade is sure as fuck a motorized mill. I like to joke that it gets me in touch with the pioneer spirit but I've had it. Someone point me to a quality mill I can stick a drill on.

There are lots of roller mills out there.. new they are gonna cost you a couple hundred bones, not sure what is available used, but I'd be wary about things that are real cheap (don't buy sight unseen.... worn bushings, gears, rollers, etc).

I've got a bare bones mill from http://www.crankandstein.net. It was cheap about 90 shipped but it is bare bones no handle no grain hopper and it is harder to adjust than most. It is durable and my grain efficiencies are around 85%, I do not have it motorized yet but would like to. For those that like to tinker it seem to be a good mill, I built my own hopper which holds around #8 and stand then permenately mounted in my basement away from everything.

i use a 10A dewalt hammer drill on my monster 2.. but i am going to make a crank for it. why pay $20 for one?

I use a monster-3, I'm really happy with mine. I added a gearmotor to it that I got from a surplus store online. The motor was something like $40, although the price goes up after you factor in stuff like the wood for a mill table, electric supplies (wires, switches), but it has a nice "I did this myself" feel to it.

alot more expensive than $3 but I think it is still a good deal
