Malt mill motor wiring diagram

So one of the things I dread is hooking the drill up to the mill and pouring 20+ pounds of grain into the hopper one quart at a time. I'm in the process of adding a gear motor from http://www.surpluscenter.com to the mill. I looked around here and other boards but haven't seen a wiring diagram that uses a 3 way switch. I think BCmaui had one but the links are now broken. If I think too much about the capacitor, I start to get confused.

My proposed diagram is shown below. I would appreciate any comments and/or suggestions. The gray line on the diagram is the white neutral wire. Thanks.

The original diagram that came with the motor is shown below.

The diagram at http://www.pbase.com/agamid/image/120574500 shows how to do this with one readily available (Home Depot even) single pole on-off-on switch (3 position). In this diagram the phases are red and blue instead of black and blue. But what you have got will work too as long as the SPST switch is wired to apply the hot lead to one side of the capacitor or the other. I can't verify that as I don't have the particular switch in front of me.

I am going the Hydraulic drive route myself. Just becasuse that is my field of work, Hydraulic and Pnuematic Systems design. My original schematic was for dual direction, but could lose a 3pos/4way valve and run one direction only. I assumed reversing direction was not necessary. Why would we need to reverse the direction of a grain mill?

In case the mill jams in the forward direction? Small pebble, packed with wheat maybe ......

+1 to the response above. Also, I have the morebeer mill and sometimes it stops feeding. Reversing and going back forward often corrects this.
