Does this look infected to you?

Hi all,

I'm trying to replicate the exbeeriment where you use kettle trub instead of fining agents to clarify my Helles. This is what it looks like on day 2 of fermentation, and I'm wondering if it looks infected to you all. The normal one looks normal:

and this one looks like a bottle of disease

Fermentation wise, the trub filled one has a much lower gravity than the normal ferment one after 5 days of fermentation at 10c (1.016 vs 1.024) and tasting both samples presents less diacetyl. Also the Trub filled one in the hydrometer sample had a lot of sediment drop out of solution when left at room temperature for an hour, but remains looking cloudy as all get out so far.

No worries. Give it time. Then, after a couple weeks, crash cool it and then hit it with gelatin. That yeast will drop right out.
Let us know how it goes.
