I have a 50/50 min of Brett T/ C starter with a pellicle. Its 4000 ml. So I can't dump it in a beer. I would normally cool it and decant swirl and pitch.
Can I pitch the pellicle with the yeast?
Can I cool/ slow cold crash with a pellicle?
Do I try to siphon out from underneath of the political?

Wait until the starter has completely finished fermenting (with brett this is typically 7-10 days). If you already have a pellicle then the starter should be done fermenting. You can cold crash for 48 hrs to drop out the brett in suspension and let it flocculate to the bottom of the starter container. When you want to pitch it, simply let it warm to just below the temp of your wort, decant the pellicle and spent starter wort above, and pitch just the brett slurry from the bottom. All is good!

So just treat it as usual. When I am ready to pitch break up/ just make sure the pellicle is decanted with the rest of the wort.
