Planning on brewing a Berliner Weisse soon, was wondering about doing a starter with WLP 630. Would it be better to just use a Bavarian Hef yeast like 380 and then do a Lacto starter separate? Will there be a conflict with doing a starter with Lacto and Saccharo together? Hope this question doesnt seem ridiculous, trying to make it to the next step in Extract brewing...

I think the blended yeast are intended to be use as is, a starter will likely favor Sacch. propagation over Lacto., and alter your initial ratio. Also, I'm assuming your BW is low enough in gravity that a starter is not strictly necessary.
